Official Rules:
Eligibility: VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and be located in or from the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. Employees of Guy Harvey, Inc. (GHI), subsidiaries, affiliates, ("Sponsor") advertising and promotion agencies and their family/household members (defined as parents, spouse, children, and siblings) are not eligible to enter. This contest is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. Void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply. Giveaway and Participation: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. One (1) entrant will be randomly selected as the winner. The giveaway starts on May, 1st, 2024. Entrant must own all rights, including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, service marks, publicity rights and trade names, to the content being submitted. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. No entries will be accepted after 11:59pm EST on Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Total Prizes: Two-night hotel stay at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld; 4 signature dolphin swim + day resort packages to Discovery Cove; 1 private VIP cabana; 4 premium drink packages (for guests 21+ years of age); Complimentary digital photo package; Guy Harvey prize package including: 1 x $200 virtual gift card (valid at GuyHarvey.com only), 4 signed and numbered limited edition lithographs and 4 signed copies of “10,000 Chicken Sandwiches” books.
Prize Notification: One (1) winner will be chosen at random and announced via email. The winner must reply to the email within 72 hours or will lose out on the giveaway and another winner will be chosen, at random.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for the prizes to be delivered.
Prize Restrictions: Must be 21 years of age to accept hotel stay. Park experiences and offers are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice. Please consult the website for full details prior to your arrival. Children must be at least 6 years old to swim with dolphins. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the dolphin swim experience. Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Valid proof of ID required. Winner will receive booking instructions and will be asked to provide 3 preferred dates. Blackout dates may apply. Winner will have 12 months to redeem prize certificate.
Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entry materials may be maintained as part of Guy Harvey’s contest records. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if it becomes technically or otherwise corrupted. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner(s). The winner(s) cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize in a contest sponsored by Guy Harvey Incorporated (GHI) within any 12-month period, regardless of the number of contests entered. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use all photographs submitted or other related materials provided to GHI in association with this contest, including all names, for posting, and/or any in any other media including for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation and without needing additional permission for such use.
By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant GHI exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the Contest, where allowed by law, participants agree that GHI may disclose the personal information obtained from participants in the Contest to third parties or contest contributors and use such information for marketing and other related purposes.
When you enter through www.guyharvey.com, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming promotions and to receive information about Sponsor, its affiliates, and the Participating Parties of this promotion/contest/giveaway. Consent to receive such e-mails is optional, does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes, and does not improve your chances of winning.
This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, (c) to Sponsor’s use of entrants’ personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at www.guyharvey.com; and (d) that the entries submitted are original and not copied or plagiarized from another source. The winner(s) is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.
Release & Publicity: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's and its agents' use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS GUY HARVEY ENTERPRISES, ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARY AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS AND SHAREHOLDERS, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, CONSULTANTS AND ANY OTHER COMPANIES PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, ADMINISTRATION OR FULFILLMENT OF THIS CONTEST (COLLECTIVELY THE "RELEASES") FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, LOSS, DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, COSTS, EXPENSES AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF THIS PROMOTION OR RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY OF THE PRIZES AWARDED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, INVASION OF THE RIGHT OF PRIVACY OR PUBLICITY.
Limitations of Liability: Releases shall not be liable to winner(s) or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond GHI’s sole control.
