Two deserving students, Cassandra MacDowell and Joshua Weaver, joined Dr. Guy Harvey on the expedition of a lifetime to Isla Mujeres, Mexico to free-dive with whale sharks. The pair entered a video and essay competition in September and stood out as passionate ocean lovers with natural on-camera talent. The team spent three days on the water, interacting with whale sharks, manta rays and a variety of other oceanic wildlife; along with exploring the roles in which they will play in the future health of the ocean. The thrill was captured from start to finish by Emmy award winner George Schellenger who will produce the documentary titled This is Their Ocean to be released during Ocean Conservation Month in the Cayman Islands this November.
