GUY TALKS SHARKS IN PUERTO RICO

Guy Harvey launched "Shark Talk Puerto Rico" this weekend at the invitation of the environmental group Pesca, Playa y Ambiente. Hundreds of people came to meet Guy and ask questions about sharks.

Jessica, Guy's daughter, was also on hand as well as other members of the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. The team started in San Juan and then flew to the island of Culebra. There was also a stop at the Caribbean's largest marina, Puerto Del Rey.

Guy and Jessica showed one of Guy's latest documentaries,"This is Your Ocean: Sharks - Part 2." They also emphasized the importance of shark conservation. The only shark protected in Puerto Rican waters is the nurse shark. It's hoped that Guy's effort will help make a difference for sharks in Puerto Rico.

The tour is also an effort sponsored by the Kenneth B. Dart Foundation to spread the word about shark and ocean conservation.

Shark Talk was first started in Grand Cayman 2 years ago. This fall, the message of ocean conservation will be spread even further on Norwegian Cruise Line's Escape. Click Here for more information about how you can join the Conservation Cruise.
