The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation recently hosted its 10th Anniversary Banquet and Fundraiser at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. Guests enjoyed delicious food, live music and a visit from two cheetahs compliments of Busch Gardens Tampa. South Florida developer and former Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commissioner “Alligator” Ron Bergeron was honored with the 2018 Guy Harvey Conservation Award. Guy gave a presentation reflecting on the major accomplishments of the GHOF in their 10 years and provided a preview of a major new GHOF billfish research initiative. A fun time was had by all and it was the most successful GHOF fundraising event to date. Many thanks to all friends, donors and supporters who helped make the evening a tremendous success.
