Bill Boyce grew up in California with a passion for fishing, boating, and adventure that led him to a lifetime on the water. Trained as a fisheries scientist, he spent years studying pelagic species including tuna, billfish, and sharks, building a deep understanding of the ocean and its ecosystems.

That foundation evolved into a career in storytelling, where Bill became an internationally recognized photographer, filmmaker, and television host. He spent years traveling the world alongside longtime friend and collaborator, Dr. Guy Harvey, filming expeditions and major productions, including the BBC’s Blue Planet, while working in some of the most iconic sportfishing destinations across the globe.

Today, Bill serves as Fish Operations Director and Guest Host at Panama’s legendary Tropic Star Lodge, a world-renowned sportfishing destination known for record-setting catches and remote, untouched waters.

Reflecting on his role as a Guy Harvey Brand Ambassador, Bill says:
“After a long lasting 35 years of friendship, kinship, and filming with Guy all over the world, no one needs to be reminded of the commitment to his brand, his family, or to the oceans we love to conserve. It is those attributes to be given the honor of becoming an international Brand Ambassador to help sustain the global reputation of the quality and performance of everything Guy Harvey Inc. creates.”
